Healthy Party Snacks for Kids


I am sure you and your kids will be hosting and attending a lot of parties this summer.  Party food can end up packing on the pounds and nutritious choices are not always available.  If you are having a party that kids will be at (these snacks are also great for adults), pick some snacks from the list below.  The kids won't even notice they are eating healthy because the snack ideas are fun and delicious!

Healthy Party Snacks For Kids

  • Fruit Smoothie Bar
  • Fruit Cones
  • Fruit Platter or Kabobs
  • Watermelon Sticks
  • Pitted Olives
  • Reduced Fat Cheese Plate with Whole Grain Crackers
  • Crab or Shrimp Dip (Mix Together Crab or Shrimp, Parmesan Cheese, Sweet Onions, Reduced Fat Cream Cheese)
  • Veggies and Hummus
  • Raw Almonds
  • Celery with Natural Peanut or Almond Butter
  • Whole Grain English Muffin Pizzas
  • Light String Cheese Wrapped in Turkey or Ham
  • Mini Sandwiches
  • Yogurt Cups with Plain Yogurt, Berries, Almonds, and Honey
  • Dark Chocolate Covered Bananas and Strawberries
  • Sweet Potato Chips and Hummus
  • Trail Mix
