Fit Summer Smoothies

I am loving smoothies this summer and came up with a few recipes I want to share.  These smoothies are light with no sugar added and mix in several healthy ingredients.  They will definitely fit in nicely with your summer health and fitness plan.  The smoothies are easy to make and will keep your waistline feeling lean for beach and pool days.  Enjoy and share any other fit smoothie recipes you may have.



Fit Green Smoothie
2 servings

Ingredients: 
  • 1 large orange, peeled and segmented
  • 1/2 of a large apple sliced
  • 6 large strawberries sliced
  • 2 cups spinach
  • 1/3 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 cup ice 
Directions:
  • Put all of the ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth. Pour into glasses and serve.


Fit PB & J Smoothie
2 servings

Ingredients:
  • 2 tblspns of all natural peanut butter
  • 6 large strawberries
  • 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • 15 grams of Jay Robb Strawberry Whey Protein Powder
  • 1 cup ice
Directions:
  • Put all of the ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth. Pour into glasses and serve.

Thanks Chris! Each smoothie is 180calories per serving.
