Nutrition Bars the Whole Family Will Like

Nutrition bars are a healthy, convenient snack or meal when you don't have the time to cook or you want something that is easy to grab and go.  They also make a great addition to the snack pack for family outings or your kid's lunches.  You should always try to find a bar that is lower in sugar and calories with a balanced mix of fat, protein and carbohydrates.  Some bars aren't that good for you and it is better to try and figure out a healthier snack or meal.  Here are some of my favorites that are lower in sugar and taste really good.

Luna Bars- Everyone I know likes Luna Bars and there is a large variety of flavors to choose from.  Each bar is only 180 calories and they are very satisfying and delicious.  They are designed for women, but men can enjoy them too!  I like that they have a good balance of fat, protein and carbs as well.  Check out more nutrition information here.

Think Thin Bars- These are my ultimate favorite and a favorite of kids.  I have one every morning for breakfast and don't get sick of them.  They are 250 calories per bar and have 0 sugar.  They satisfy my hunger and give me the perfect amount of morning energy.  See more nutrition information here.

Power Crunch- French vanilla is the best flavor and tastes like a vanilla wafer cookie.  It is only 195 calories, high in protein and low in carbohydrates.  They are hard to find in the store, but most sports stores and Trader Joes sell them.  See more nutrition information here.
