Energized Mom Vitamin Concoction

Being a mom requires a lot of energy and if you aren't eating your best or getting enough sleep you may feel run down and unable to keep up with the pace of your kids (fast!) and the pace you want to be at.  First off, you need to eat right and get some sleep, but this vitamin mix keeps you healthy, energized and motivated for an active day.  It also strengthens your immune system since moms can't take a sick day.

Vitamins:
  • Women's Multivitamin (Rainbow Light Certified Organics is a good one)
  • Coenzyme Q10- It plays a key role in helping the body convert food into energy. Co-enzyme Q10 is also an important antioxidant.
  • Chromium Picolinate- Chromium picolinate has been used in alternative medicine as an aid to lowering cholesterol or improving the body's use of glucose (sugar).
  • Green Tea- Potential to fight cancer and heart disease -- has been more than intriguing, as have limited studies about green tea's role in lowering cholesterol, burning fat, preventing diabetes and stroke, and staving off dementia.
  • Acai- A superfruit full of antioxidants.
  • CLA- It may be beneficial in numerous health conditions, including heart disease and cancer, and may reduce body fat.
Just follow dosages on the bottle and consult your doctor before taking.  If you don't want to take all of these, at least find a good multivitamin and stay hydrated.
