Almond Milk

I recently tried Blue Diamond Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk and really like it!  It was an ingredient recommended for a protein shake I wanted to make.  It is lactose-free, sugar-free and only 40 calories per serving!  Plus it has a smooth and creamy texture that mixes well with protein powder, tea and coffee (some soy milks I have used do not mix well and can ruin your drink).  Almond milk is also low in carbohydrates, rich in antioxidant Vitamin E and an excellent source of calcium.

I was pleasantly surprised that I would love unsweetened almond milk.  Here are some other unsweetened flavors I found on the Blue Diamond site.

Almond Breeze® Original: The unsweetened version of Almond Breeze Original still provides a touch of the almond's natural sweetness, but eliminates the added sugar. Also available in 64 oz.

Try one!  I really think you will enjoy it and you can't beat something that tastes great and is lactose free, sugar free and only 40 calories per serving.
